2025/26 Player Pen Pics

Paul White - (Goalkeeper) Paul arrived for a second spell at Latimer Park in May 2025, joining from Rushall Olympic. The Irishman first joined The Poppies in September 2016 from Accrington Stanley and went on to make 157 appearances between the posts. Paul was a key member of the 2018/19 Southern League Premier Division Central title winning side before he joined Hereford in June 2020. After leaving Hereford Paul had spells with St Ives Town, Peterborough Sports and Coalville Town before joining Rushall in June 2024. He made 43 appearances for The Pics last season.  

Josh Humphrey - (Goalkeeper) Josh is a young goalkeeper who arrived at Latimer Park in July 2025 after ending the 2024/25 season at Banbury United under Simon Hollyhead. He came through the youth ranks at Northampton Town and had a spell in Ireland with Larne.

Jason Alexander - (Goalkeeper) Jason returned to Latimer Park in August 2025 after Paul White suffered a fractured wrist in the first game of the season against Royston Town. Jason played three times (twice in the FA Cup) for The Poppies in the 24/25 season and was man of the match on his debut verses Cleethorpes Town. At 6ft 6" Jason is a big presence in between the posts and his previous clubs include Chesterfield, Boston United, Corby Town, Long Eaton United and Matlock Town. 

Levi Andoh (Defender) Levi is a powerful central defender who arrived at Latimer Park in July 2025 following his release from York City. Began his career at Cradley Town before joining Worcester City where his impressive performances lead to him joining Ipswich Town. Whilst at Portman Road Levi had loan spells with Lowestoft Town, Hereford and Buxton. He joined Hednesford Town after his release from Ipswich then joined Hereford on a permanent deal before moving to York. After only four games he suffered a spinal fracture and missed the rest of the 2023/24 season. A change in manager at York saw Levi out of favour when he regained full fitness and during the 2024/25 season he had spells on loan with Darlington, Truro City and a 3rd spell with Hereford.

Will Glennon - (Defender) Will arrived at Latimer Park on the eve on the 25/26 league season joining The Poppies from Bedford Town who he only joined in the summer from St Ives Town. Will was the  stand out performer against Kettering last season when The Ives won 3-2 at Latimer Park putting in an excellent defensive performance as well as scoring twice. Local to Northamptonshire, Will began his career with Bugbrooke St Michael before joining AFC Rushden & Diamonds. Some excellent performances for The Diamonds saw him snapped up by Stamford in July 2024 and despite being a regular in the Stamford side he joined St Ives in December 2024 going on to play a key part in them staying in the division last season.

Aksum White - (Defender) Right full-back Aksum arrived at Latimer Park in September 2025 signing from fellow Southern League Premier Division Central side Bromsgrove Sporting. Began his career with West Bromwich Albion spending seven years at The Hawthorns playing for The Baggies under 18's and Under 21 teams. Following his release from Albion he joined Tamworth before loan spells with Sporting Khalsa, Worcester Raiders and Coleshill Town. Brief spells with Stratford Town and Barwell followed before he joined Bromsgrove in 2023 and he played just short of 100 times for Sporting.

Shane Flynn - (Defender) Dublin born Shane is a talented left full-back who arrived at Latimer Park in July 2025. He had eight seasons with Leicester City where he was a regular trainer with the first team and was on the substitutes bench for a Premier League game against Brighton in 2021 as well as being in the Foxes squad for the 2021/22 Europa League campaign. Shane was released by Leicester in July 2024 and spent the 24/25 season back in Ireland playing for Ballymena United.

Andi Thanoj - (Midfield) Albanian born Andi is a creative midfielder who arrived at Latimer Park in July 2024 from Coalville Town and he had an excellent first season with The Poppies. He began his career with Grimsby Town making over 100 appearances for The Mariners. Spells with Alfreton Town, Harrogate Town and Redditch United followed before three season's with Boston United where he became a fans favourite. Andi has international honours with Albania having played for their under 21's.

George Forsyth - (Midfielder) "Fozzy" returned to Latimer Park for a third spell in June 2025 following manager Simon Hollyhead from Banbury United. First played for The Poppies in the 2022/23 season signing from Bromsgrove Sporting before leaving in the summer of 2023 to join AFC Telford United. But he was back for a second spell in January 2024 joining on loan from the Bucks and being made captain. In the Summer of 2024 George returned to Bromsgrove before Simon Hollyhead took him to Banbury in October 2024. George has also had spells with Kidderminster Harriers, Hereford, Halesowen Town and Redditch United.

Ismael Fatadjo - (Midfield) Ismael is a lively midfielder who joined The Poppies in July 2025 from Leiston. He was a regular in the Leiston side in the 24/25 season playing against Kettering twice. Born in Portugal Ismael began his career in England with Gorleston before moving on to Wroxham. Some impressive performances there saw him signed by King's Lynn Town where he made a number of appearances in the National League North. A brief spell back at Gorleston followed him on leaving Lynn before he joined Leiston.

Alfie Lewis - (Midfield) Alfie is a dynamic midfielder who joined The Poppies in August 2025 from Averley where he ended the 2024/25 season making 18 appearances. Alfie began his career with West Ham United spending 12 years with The Hammers playing over 60 times for their Premier League Two side as well as 12 times in the EFL Trophy for the Under 21's. He made the bench for West Ham once in July 2020 against Chelsea. Lewis was loaned to Irish club St Patrick's in February 2021 playing 31 times and scoring three times. In January 2022 Lewis left West Ham and joined Plymouth Argyle on a permanent deal and made three appearances for The Pilgrims in Sky Bet League One. Alfie returned to Ireland in August 2022 joining Dundalk playing over 40 times, he returned to England in January 2025 joining Averley.

Brandon Barker - (Midfield) Brandon arrived at Latimer Park in August 2025 after ending the 2024/25 season with Northern Premier League side Avro. Manchester born he joined the academy of Manchester City aged eight and his name was banded about as the next big thing to come out of City's youth set up. He won the Academy's players player of the year award in 2014 before signing his first pro-contract with City under Manuel Pellegrini and made his City debut in an FA Cup tie with Chelsea at Stamford Bridge. City loaned Brandon to Rotherham United, Dutch club NAC Breda, Hibernian and Preston North End before in August 2019 he joined Scottish Giants Glasgow Rangers scoring on his debut against Livingstone. He made over 30 appearances for The Gers before a loan move to Oxford United then a permanent move to Reading. After a short spell with The Royals in June 2022 Brandon joined Cypriot club Omonia playing in the Europa League under the management of Neil Lennon. Brandon returned to England in January 2024 joining then league two club Morecambe where he stayed for 13 months joining Avro in February 2025. 

Callum Powell - (Forward) A pacy and skilful forward Callum returned to Latimer Park for a second spell with The Poppies in December 2024 from Braintree Town. He was first signed by Paul Cox in November 2020 from Stratford Town and he went on to put in some superb performances. Those performances saw Southend United pay an undisclosed fee to take Callum to Roots Hall in January 2022. Callum had a good start to his Shrimpers career but a knee injury saw him miss most of the 23/24 season and in July 2024 he signed for Braintree Town. After four months we Braintree he had a loan spell with Tamworth before re-joining Kettering. Unfortunately in only his fourth game back with the Poppies he broke his leg in a match at Redditch United and missed the rest of the 24/25 season.

Kai Fifield - (Forward) Kai is a pacy and skilful winger who joined The Poppies in July 2024 following an impressive trial period in pre-season. Kai lists Wellingborough Whitworth, Cogenhoe United and St Ives Town as his previous clubs. He had a superb start to the 23/24 season but suffered an injury in October 2023 that held him back for a few months. But now back fully fit he will be looking at starting the 2025/26 season flying.

Wes York (Forward) Wes is a experienced forward who arrived at Latimer Park in July 2024 from Coalville Town and went on to have an excellent first season with The Poppies. Can play a number of different positions and that makes him an important member of the squad, his performances quickly made him a fans favourite with the Kettering supporters. Wes has played well over 150 games in the National league with spells at Nuneaton Town, Wrexham, Gateshead and York City as well as three seasons with Brackley Town.  

Connor Stanley - (Forward) Connor is another player who followed Manager Simon Hollyhead to Latimer Park from Banbury United. A skilful and pacy wide man Connor began his career with Manchester United where he was a regular in the Under 23's and also trained with the first team on a number of occasions. After leaving Old Trafford he joined Bolton Wanderers where he had loan spells with Bamber Bridge and FC United of Manchester before he joined Hereford. On leaving Edgar Street Connor played for both Stourbridge and Alvechurch before spending the 2024/25 season with Banbury.

Micah Anthony - (Forward) 21 year old Micah arrived at Latimer Park in September 2025 on loan from Bristol Rovers. A pacy winger he began his career at Queens Park Rangers and whilst at Loftus Road had a loan spell with Hanwell Town. In July 2024 he joined Bristol Rovers and during the 2024/25 season had a nine game loan spell with National League South club Bath City.

Jamar Loza - (Striker) Jamar is an experienced striker who joined The Poppies in March 2025 from Leiston where had had two very prolific seasons. Began his career with Norwich City and whilst at Carrow Road Jamar had loan spells with Coventry City, Leyton Orient, Southend United, Yeovil Town and Stevenage. He then dropped into Non League football with Maidstone United before spells with Woking, Kings Lynn Town and Barnet.

Leon Lobjoit - (Striker) A prolific striker Leon joined The Poppies in June 2025 from Bedford Town where his 27 league goals helped fire The Eagles to the Southern League Premier Division Central title the previous season. Leon started his career at MK Dons before dropping into the non league game with Hemel Hempstead Town, Leighton Town and Arlesey Town. In the 2016/17 season Leon had a remarkable season at Buckingham Town scoring 52 goals in just 43 games and that record saw him earn a move back into the football league with Northampton Town. Leon spent one season at Sixfields but was unable to earn a place in The Cobblers side but did have loan spells with Corby Town, Nuneaton Borough and Banbury United. On leaving Northampton Leon moved to Brackley Town before prolific spells with Hemel Hempstead Town, Newport Pagnell Town and St Neots Town. Leon joined Leighton Town ahead of the 2022/23 season and went on to score an incredible 60 goals before following his manager at Leighton, Lee Bircham to Bedford Town. Leon's goal scoring record is up there with anyone's in non league football over the last 30 years and he will be a big player for Simon Hollyhead's new look squad this season.

Edmond Oppong - (Striker) Edmond is an Italian born striker who joined the Poppies in July 2025 after a spell with Mickleover. A quick and powerful striker Edmond impressed in pre-season and there are high hopes for him amongst the Kettering management. Edmond has also played under 23 football for both Middlesbrough and Brentford.

Nile Ranger - (Striker) Nile returned to Latimer Park in August 2025 having been with the Poppies the previous season where he scored 12 times including the winner that knocked neighbours Northampton Town out of the FA Cup. Nile has played at the highest level of English football for Newcastle United and has also played for Sheffield Wednesday, Blackpool, Swindon Town and Southend United. 

Simon Hollyhead (Manager) Simon was appointed as Richard Lavery's replacement in June 2025. He was the manager at The Poppies league rivals Banbury United in the 2024/25 season where his team took four points off The Poppies. A holder of a UEFA Pro-Licence Simon has held assistant manager roles at Malmo, SK Brann, Odense and Stevenage.
