Terell Pennant has joined KTFC |
Ahead of Kettering Town's New Years Day clash away at Harborough Town Poppies manager Richard Lavery has added exciting forward Terell Pennant to his squad. 22 year old Pennant, who is the nephew of the former Arsenal and Liverpool winger Jermaine Pennant arrives at Latimer Park from National League North side Rushall Olympic where he has been a regular in their side.
Terell began his carer with Leicester City starting in The Foxes under 18's side then progressing up to the Under 23's at The King Power Stadium. He made 3 appearances for Leicester in the EFL Trophy and was a regular in the U23's team that played in the Premier League International Cup and Premier League Two.
In the summer of 2023 Terell was released by Leicester and signed for Coalville Town where he played alongside current Poppies Ben Hart, Andi Thanoj and Wes York. He made a massive impact with Coalville scoring 10 goals in 34 games and was named Coalville supporters player of the year.
In July 2024, Tyrell moved to Rushall Olympic and quickly became a fans favourite with his skill, pace and work rate. He made 18 appearances for The Pics, scoring twice. At home on either wing, as a number 10 or as an out and out striker he will add quality to an already impressive attack at Latimer Park.
Poppies boss Lavery told the clubs website "I have been after Terell for a little while now, and I am delighted he is joining us. He will give us that extra special creativity and adds a different dynamic to the squad. I am sure he will become a fans favourite as we go into the new year with a huge incentive, promotion, I am sure you will all give him a huge welcome"
