Poppies boss Richard Lavery has today added to his midfield with the double signing of Kyle Storer and Sam McLintock.
Storer is a vastly experienced ball wining midfielder who joins from league rivals AFC Telford United. A former team mate of Richard Lavery he lists Tamworth, Nuneaton Borough, Kidderminster Harriers, Wrexham, Cheltenham Town and Solihull Moors as his previous clubs. He has won league titles with both Cheltenham and Nuneaton as his experience will be a definite help to the Poppies promotion push.
McLintock is a 24 year old wide midfielder who arrives at Latimer Park from National League North side Rushall Olympic. Beginning his career with Coleshill Town his performances soon attracted Alvechurch where he moved to and continued to impress. His superb performances continued and soon National League side FC Halifax Town took him to The Shay. On his departure form Halifax he had a brief spell at AFC Telford United before former Poppies manager Ian Culverhouse took him to Boston United. He played 44 times for The Pilgrims before leaving in November 2023 to join Rushall Olympic who he left earlier this week.
