Kettering Town have added to their already impressive front line today after announcing the signing of former Celtic striker Gary Hooper.
Hooper joined the Scottish giants in July 2010 for a fee of 2.4 million pounds from Scunthorpe United and went on to score 63 goals in 95 appearances for the Hoops. In July 2013 he joined Premier League side Norwich City for a fee of around 5 million pounds.
After three years at Carrow Round Gary then moved to Sheffield Wednesday for 3 million pounds. After 3 years at Hillsborough he spent 4 years playing in Australia before returning to England and ending the 2023/24 season with Barnet.
Gary will add yet more quality to the Poppies forward line and is expected to feature in Saturday's fixture at Latimer Park against AFC Sudbury.
